A drama about uprooting and routine transforms into an exhilarating black comedy about the routine of co-existence. "A story about life and death, not necessarily in that order." A serial killer who always kills the same victim is a reflection of the need to die in order to live. A sinuous film that moves to the rhythm of jazz, walking comfortably between genres and develops between consciousness and unconsciousness.
Like a paste-on button, it's cute but nothing more because it lacks a thread to tie it together. A man can't stop killing his neighbor so his wife has a guru? I swear to God, boomers will do anything to make their marital problems seem unique.
