Jumped into this one because of Sabrina, Keiynan and Jordan. While the overall plot is terribly cliche and predictable, it was a cute, fun little movie to watch. Soundtrack is awesome and choreography is pretty damn good, too.
Lasted about 10 minutes, could already tell this was a shit movie. Shitty cast, made up of shitty actors and shitty YouTubers. Couldn't even use it for background noise, it was that bad.
WAS HERE FOR LIZA KOSHY. SHE SHOULD BE IN MORE MOVIES.
Now I actually really enjoyed this. As it started Sabrina Carpenter and Liza Koshy I understand that I can be a bit biased but I just absolutely loved their performances here. Yes, the story isn't original by any means but it's still enjoyable none the less despite all the cliche tropes.
As a film with dance with principal plot, after all Step Up's and Honey, for example, is very weak. The choreographies haven't an IT factor at all - I can even say they aren't enough to keep the center of the plot as it should be. The love story is that kind of thing that you need when you had a bad day and doesn't want to think about nothing (even about the logic of falling in love or whatever). Best thing: Break My Heart and Cool from Dua Lipa in the soundtrack.
