It's a very good movie, I'm a native Iranian so it bothered me a little that some of the actors had accents, the kind that non-natives have. Also the situation in Iran is a lot worse than what the movie shows, mostly because it's about a rich family, even Shirin doesn't have nearly the worst kind of family. It would've been better if it was more realistic.

the most hideous movie ever! This is how you fail at directing a movie on every point possible: The acting is awful, characters are fake and not developed at all. There is no connection between the scenes at any point. Dialogs are armature and have no true meaning at points, lots of unnecessary comments throughout the movie. The music choice is as bad as the movie itself. This film not only did not cover the actual difficulties that Iranian women face in everyday life but also destroyed every aspect of the true reality of Iranian society. I can understand the idea that the director had in mind but she miserably failed!
