Felt like the original Bad Boys movie, action packed comedy with flavor, and honestly Martin Lawrence was all the flavor in this classic buddy cop movie. They kept it simple this time and brought in all the old elements that make it good. It's a fun movie so simply enjoy it, the action and comedy was good and it was better than the third one for sure. The best part was they brought Reggie back.
full entertaining movie, everyone go and watch
Tied in first place with Beverly Hills Cop Axel F for worst sh*t ever. Can’t blame the old timers for trying to make a buck but geeze, put a little more gray matter and elbow grease into it.
If you thought the Bad Boys franchise had run out of gas, "Bad Boys: Ride or Die" is here to confirm your suspicions. This latest installment is like a car crash you can't look away from, but not in a good way. It's edgy, alright, but in the same way that a teenager's first attempt at rebellion is edgy—full of stereotypes and trying way too hard to be funny, only to land flat on its face. Imagine a made-for-TV movie that somehow stumbled into a big-budget production. The script is so poor it feels like it was written on the back of a napkin during a lunch break. The casting choices are baffling, and the directing is so uninspired that you wonder if the director was even present on set. Martin Lawrence's performance is particularly grating, turning what could have been a mildly annoying character into a full-blown nuisance that ruins the movie. The plot? Oh, it's there, somewhere, buried under layers of forced humor and tired clichés. The movie tries to be funny but ends up being as amusing as a root canal. It's a money grab, plain and simple, with no real effort put into making it a memorable experience. The action scenes are the only saving grace, but even they can't lift this sinking ship. In a world where we have countless options for entertainment, "Bad Boys: Ride or Die" is another forgettable entry that makes you wish they'd stop making these movies altogether. It's like a bad joke that keeps getting retold, hoping for a laugh that never comes. So, if you're looking for a movie to watch, steer clear of this one. Unless, of course, you enjoy watching a franchise crash and burn in spectacular fashion. In that case, grab some popcorn and enjoy the show. But for everyone else, save your time and money for something more worthwhile.
Thankfully I did not waste my money watching this in the theatre. Let this be the last please. Cheap acting, underwhelming action scenes, horrible camera works... and it took 2 directors to make this that bad? Michael Bay's first 2 parts continue to blast.
