Die Rockband "The Kelly Affair", bestehend aus Kelly McNamara, Casey Anderson und Pet Danforth, drei jungen und attraktiven Frauen, macht sich gemeinsam mit Kellys Freund und Bandmanager Harris Allsworth auf den Weg nach Hollywood um dort ganz groß rauszukommen. Mit Hilfe von Kellys Tante Susan lernen die Musikerinnen den Produzenten Z-Man Barzell kennen, der ihnen tatsächlich zu ersten größeren Erfolgen verhilft. Von nun an bestimmen wilde Parties, Drogen, Sex und Eifersüchteleien das Leben der Bandmitglieder...

drugs are bad mmmkay. Okay, smoking is bad; you shouldn't smoke. And alcohol is bad; you shouldn't drink alcohol. And as for drugs, well, drugs are bad; you shouldn't do drugs. But if you made it through this movie you are probably on the drugs or have an addiction to 70s erotica. Either way you should seek help

Okay then... I just don't get the appeal. There are some fairly hilarious scenes, but this just feels like a long episode of a 60s version of Real World on acid with the Manson murders thrown in for good measure.
