A very Japanese comedy about a _fictional_ radio play of a time where there has been a "visa" requirement for inhabitants of Tokyo with certain prefectures pretty much being exempt from visiting - like the "hicks" from Saitama" (located just north of Tokyo)" - and a hierarchical urban class system depending on where you live within playing out in a renaissance like setting. Still, the snobbery found from the Tokyoites can be applied universally to other places so despite featuring a lot of jokes and stereotypes about various prefectures in Japan (Gunma, Ibaraki, Chiba, etc.) this can still be enjoyed and actually, the radio play narrative also allowed them to include a present day storyline explaining some of the antics to the unversed viewer.
