I remember watching this during my school and loving this way more than I will find it now. Back then it just felt cool. The whole genius angle, over-the-top action, drama, everything was hitting, and you don’t really question much at that age, you just go with it. Looking at it now, it’s exaggerated, a lot of it doesn’t really hold up and logic kind of takes a backseat most of the time. But still, that first impression stays. It’s one of those films you know isn’t great, but you can’t completely dislike because of when you watched it and how it made you feel then. It’s more nostalgia than quality now.
