OK, So I thought I had watched this movie, maybe I have or maybe its just the "Shaft" by Isaac Hayes that I remember. But I still enjoyed watching this movie, it was corny but that is what 70's is all about. I liked seeing all the old things that we had from back then that people forget about today. Yes there was bad moments but that added to the age of the movie. I hope you enjoy it as I see it. Mark

I love seeing New York in the movies, and this is a great depiction of some key neighborhoods in the early 70s. The movie itself is fine--Roundtree's performance is as cool as it gets, but it's a little long and the plot machinations didn't always come together for me. Makes a great double feature with Mccabe and Mrs Miller if you like coats.
