This film overestimated me with its intimidating naïveté. It is nothing more than isolated shots of Buddhists doing Buddhist things with no framework or explanation. A sermon with no context -- or words -- is not a lesson...or anything else. It's nothing, which is perhaps what this film in all its Buddha-ness was trying to achieve, but I was definitely looking for something more than nothing.
