Film 55 (Goal: 300) of 2024 Some may find this documentary, described as a true story of hate, revenge, understanding, remorse and redemption as lived by Mark Stroman on the Texas Death Row, an interesting study of American patriotism immediately after 9/11. Unfortunately (for me) I found this drawl and amateurish. While there's an interesting concept here, built around the aforementioned study evil and forgiveness, it's delivered in such a basic presentation that it lacks any real connective tissue. Everything here is subdued and muted rather than potentially groundbreaking or uplifting. It just never connects and is poorly structured.
