Der mutige Aktivist und Fotojournalist Dan Eldon wächst in London auf und zieht bereits in jungen Jahren mit seiner Familie nach Nairobi in Kenia. Er begeistert sich für den Journalismus und bereist 1993 Somalias Hauptstadt Mogadischu. Trotz der Gefahren in Afrika, engagiert er sich dort und unterstützt somalische Flüchtlinge.

We only have a short time on this earth, and very few of us achieve in a lifetime as much as what Dan Eldon did within his short lifespan. This film is a moving tribute, not only to him, but to all those other journalists who risk their lives on a daily basis to give an account of the harsh realities going on around the globe. By the film's end I was moved to tears.
