character development was one note - [spoiler] wife/mother recently died, [/spoiler] it's a lazy boring trope. the acting is bad from all cast members especially [spoiler] the children and the dollhouse seems to be completely meaningless even though it's in the cover art and focused on throughout. [/spoiler] the house nor the haunting are scary/spooky in any way.

This is a pretty shoddy film that fails on almost every front. The script is weak and plot paper thin, the acting is mediocre at best but generally quite poor with 2-dimensional and cliche characters, and the horror element is almost non-existent; it doesn't even have any successful jump scares, cheap as they can be. Not sure how this film's rating is almost at a "fair" rating on here - perhaps a lot of people watched and rated this while high or drunk. In a word: avoid.

Overall not a terrible movie. parts of the dialogue were great but the execution was not stellar. Haunted house movies are tricky and this one played out nicely until it fell apart at the end...tragically so.

Fitting title. You keep checking how many minutes still remain. Yawn!

Jesus i hate teenagers. Was a meh movie
