Handlung
Nachdem er den blutrünstigen Zombie-Horden von East Mission City entkommen ist, setzt der investigative Reporter Chase Carter alles daran, die Regierungsverschwörung öffentlich zu machen, die überhaupt erst zur Verbreitung des Zombie-Virus‘ geführt hat. Doch dazu muss er in die abgeriegelte und todbringende Quarantänezone zurückkehren. Dort bekommt er es aber nicht nur mit den gefährlichen Untoten, sondern auch mit dem gnadenlosen General Lyons zu tun, der die Beteiligung der Regierung und des US-Militärs an der Zombie-Seuche um jeden Preis vertuschen will und dafür auch über Leichen geht. Gemeinsam mit seinen Verbündeten muss sich Chase einmal mehr seinen blutigen Weg durch Zombies und Lügen bahnen, um schließlich die Wahrheit ans Licht zu bringen.

This is so underrated (on imdb and RT anyway). People just can't sit back and have some fun, being so spoiled by movies with high budgets, and look down their nose at low budgeted movies that try their best. It's absolutely above average. Everything is improved from the first, and i really enjoyed it. I usually don't make comments about these kinds of movies, where it's fun and decent but not that good, but here i really felt like i had to. The story is standard and decent, with a little bit of interesting morality in the mix. The characters are likeable, the action is fun and sometimes it feels like it's in one take and it's really cool and intense to see. The zombies feel like zombies and they're pretty good. It's just all around a decent zombie movie to watch.

Yay, it has Marie Avgeropoulos, best known from the TV series The 100! 😁 But just an ok movie.
