While this 1970s Home-invasion B-movie could be forgettable like so many others, it is not. It is considered by some as a classic and I can see why. Yes, it is very racist and very brutal. That is also exactly what makes it more realistic than some similar high budget more polished Hollywood movies. It just feels real, which is what makes its uncomfortable and interesting at the same time. Sure it is not great, but still pretty good for the type of movie and given the low budget (35K). And the ending is what many people wish would happen more often in reality. All that makes it also a good source for some interesting discussions.
Not the best of its type but probably has an audience. Hostages. Racism. Violence.
