A different kind of WWII movie showing some of the ugly events happening during the war. The special effects are crap but the story is solid.

How a movie with this cast has eluded me for so long is beyond me. I had never heard of this before now. Althought it is kind of a typical movie for its time and it seems to run rather long it is a good one. It is more of a wartime movie than an all out war movie. There are some battle scenes but not that many. This is more a story about the people in the war. Yes, it has the usual clichés that come with the time and style of movie. But if you are a fan of classic Hollywood with names that are legends today I guess you won´t be dissapointed.

A decent WWII movie about Pearl Harbour and the war in the pacific with an excellent cast. They though have for my taste a few too many dramatic side plats that distract from the main story. In the end, the main story, that is the war, feels a little thin in the movie. It is a good, solid movie, but there are better ones out there about the subject.
