The film begins well, the opening tale of the Submarine Kid is engaging, but then the film sinks under the weight of its PTSD drama. A valiant effort but ultimately underwhelming.

> "Everyone's always asking you what you wanna do, what you wanna make." They had a good idea but lost me about halfway through. Finn Wittrock is great and plays someone with PTSD really well, but then they start adding ghost elements into it and doesn't work as well.
