Handlung
In der Zukunft ist das Terra-Forming von Planeten zu einem großen Geschäft geworden und eine der Firmen, die in diesem Geschäftsfeld tätig sind, ist das intergalaktische Konglomerat Exor. Diese Firma geht bei ihrer Arbeit äußerst skrupellos vor und als in einer der Gefangenenkolonien, die für Exor die schwere Arbeit leisten, angeblich ein Virus ausbricht, und daraufhin das Gefängnis samt der nahegelegenen Hauptstadt weggebombt werden soll, muss der Exor-Offizier Kane Sommerville auf eigene Faust seine Tochter Indi retten, die sich gerade in der Stadt befindet. Doch sein Raumschiff wird abgeschossen und so muss er sich wohl oder übel mit dem ausgebrochenen Sträfling Sy Lombrok zusammentun …

A great little indie sci-fi flick. XYZ films has been killing it lately. I look forward to a sequel.

A real mixed bag this one. Visually, there is a lot of imagination on display. I especially loved the rotating prison cells. Unfortunately, the story wasn't that interesting, and the acting was variable (though the dialogue didn't help the actor's cause). Oh, and the monsters were pretty awful too. Still, there was some talent on display behind the camera. A second volume doesn't excite me, however.

Seriously, give this one a shot. I have no idea why its scores on other ratings sites are so much lower than they should be. By the end you'll want Volume Two as much as I do.

They tried hard to create a living world, a saga, took a bunch of ideas from other places. Not sure what to blame - budget constrains or weak points of the story, but something is missing here for it to be great.
