Funny idea, but poorly executed. It felt like the budget was not nearly enough for that kind of plot.

I liked everything except the love story and the giant "savages". Sucks that love story was the main point of this film.The songs were good though. He saw her once and fell in love? Couldn't it have been curiosity and awe that she didn't immediately like him and over time on their adventure he actually falls in love? Her being the only one unaffected by the curse wasn't even explained well. Why didn't we get more of her story? The villain was nothing more than "jealous woman"; very uninteresting.

_Charming_ is an entertaining and fun animated film about fairy tales. As he approaches his 21st birthday, Prince Charming has to complete the Gauntlet quest in order to lift his charming curse to free the women under his charm and restore true love; but the fathers of Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and Snow White are unsure of the princes ability to complete the quest and hire a thief to help guide and protect him along the journey. Starring Demi Lovato, Wilmer Valderrama, Ashley Tisdale, Avril Lavigne, and John Cleese, the film has solid cast that delivers strong performances. And the comedy is well-done, with some clever satire and funny gags. Additionally, the soundtrack is quiet good and features a number of catchy pop songs; such as “Trophy Boy.” While it may be a little formulaic and predictable, _Charming_ deliveries an exciting adventure with plenty of laughs.
