China, 1941: Die japanischen Streitkräfte bombardieren die chinesische Hauptstadt ohne Gnade, Tausende von Zivilisten verlieren ihr Leben. Unter diesen grauenhaften Bedingungen versucht US-Colonel Johnson (Bruce Willis), unerfahrene junge Chinesen zu Piloten auszubilden, um den Luftraum zu verteidigen. Währenddessen befindet sich Captain Xue (Ye Liu) auf einer heiklen Geheimmission und muss eine Dechiffriermaschine heil in die Hauptstadt bringen. I've got to give a massive well done to the editors of the movie by making it look like Bruce Willis was on set longer than 30 minutes.

It has been entertaining, but the mix of genres does not come together well. Air battles fine

WOW.. this is a REALLY BAD movie. Got 10 minutes in and switched it off. Willis is obviously doing this for the easy big bucks, cause he just phoned in his "performance." 0/10

Air Strike is a blatant piece of Chinese propaganda disguised as a WWII film. The plot (if there is one) is a total mess; something to do with an airplane squadron, a truck that has to get a decoder somewhere and keeps picking up refugees, and a town that gets bombed over and over again. Bruce Willis and Adrien Brody lead the cast list but are only in a handful of scenes, awkwardly forced in. There aren’t any good performances and the English dubbing is god-awful (like comically bad). And the CGI and green screen work really sticks out. Unbearably soap opera-ish, Air Strike is good for some laughs but is an extremely poor war drama.

Absolutely horrible. Didn't realize this was not an american movie so it's dubbed into english. The CGI looks incredibly fake. Really bad movie.
