Tidal Wave is a slow, boring, Korean drama B-movie for the first 80 minutes. It's a long, tedious chore to get through the first 2/3 of the movie. Then the tidal wave finally arrives, and the action picks up. The tsunami graphics look pretty good. The last 40 minutes of the movie are solid, if you like disaster movies. The movie is in Korean, so unless you know Korean, be prepared to read subtitles. If you decide to watch this movie, I strongly recommend that you skip the first 80 minutes of boring filler. Just watch the final 40 minutes, that's where all the action is. Now you have 80 extra minutes to get some house chores done.
