Very low brow and tacky without any finesse to it in a very cacophonic cut. The insane high intensity satire wears thin and tiresome halfway through and what keeps the movie going are the performances by Peter Cook, Rik Mayall and Alexei Sayle alone. Other respectable names sorta dissolve in the mess. Apparently it is based on a sitcom, maybe it works better in that format.
