Everything that was surprising and fresh that made _Dream a Little Dream_ work was somehow lost in the 5 years it took to come up with this "sequel". The only thread that links them is the Coreys kept the same character names. While the first focused on the deep and eternal love Coleman had for his wife that drove him into finding a spiritual way to stay connected with her, this one is a lame excuse to have some chase scenes, gun fights, and all-around horrible attempts at making you believe that Coleman created magic sunglasses to let you mind control someone. Corey Feldman even wrote and sang a few of the songs on the soundtrack. He is the worst hand overactor ever, each scene has him wildly gesturing and gyrating with the added Michael Jackson dance scene which was cute in the first movie, but horribly out of place here in 1994.
