Went into this movie thinking it was another stupid slasher and while it was I wasn’t quite sure who the killer was until the reveal which is awesome. The motivation was obvious just not from the right person. Slightly rolling my eyes at Rumor’s character at the end because they made her do like a complete 180 like girl when did you have time for character growth between the tears?
Even for a movie that you know is going to be stupid, it surprises you how dumb it is.
This film is, in fact, a whodunit. As in "Who thought this movie was a good idea, and who in the hell green lighted it?" But the biggest mystery is why in the world would Carrie Fisher agree to appear in it?
I mean... The movies named _Sorority Row_. If you went into it expecting more than what you got from reading the synopsis, it's your own fault. The movie was campy fun for me, and reminded me of those 80's slasher films with horny teens running around getting murdered. It's not much deeper than that, so turn off the brain and enjoy the ride.
Ya know, for a horror movie in a sorority house, this had such potential. It could have been 100 minutes of boobs, sex, scream queens and bloody mayhem. It basically failed to deliver on all fronts. Even the twist at the end revealing the real killer was disappointing. It's not a "bad" movie, it has decent acting, good practical effects and clearly had some funding behind it. But, it's not a good movie either.
