The film doesn't make a lot of sense, and I suspect it has been edited quite a bit. Good actors are cast adrift in this weird tale which ironically is quite hollow.

Sorry but I couldn’t get over how gorgeous Patrick is and how much he looks like a young Paul Newman the entire movie.
