This movie is vintage 80's from the dress right down to the Jan Hammer soundtrack. C. Thomas Howell plays about the exact same role he played throughout the decade. Kelly Preston is gorgeous in a similar role to _Mischief_ and _Twins_. The surprise here is Lori Loughlin. The only other thing I have seen her in is _Full House_ until her love letter writing here as Toni. I thought she was great. The other fun elements here were an adult food fight/frat type rumble and an early part for one of the two Coreys, Haim this time as Michael's money stealing younger brother. If you enjoyed this movie but want to see it on a more mature level, I recommend _The Love Letter_ (1999) starring Kate Capshaw. Similar story but not a remake.
