I only gave it 4 for the sake of the beautiful Imogen Poots, and her
"awkwardly **lovely**" american accent.
If I didn't know better, I would have thought that this was one of the bottom-of-the-barrel Woody Allen movies. You know the ones I am talking about - they "feature" a mediocre plot filled with coincidences set in New York City under a constant music bed. Breezy and light and instantly forgettable. It's such a shame because this featured an excellent cast (including a young Michael Shannon playing an unnamed cop). Imogene Poots is probably the only reason that this was watchable on any level. Jennifer Aniston was stuck playing one of the worst characters in recent memory. This movie really was a mess. follow me at https://IHATEBadMovies.com or facebook IHATEBadMovies
I really enjoyed this fast paced comedy. The story is nonsensical in a good way, coincidences, quiproquos, misunderstanding all leading to laugh inducing scenes, one after another. Jennifer Aniston as a neurotic therapist is great as is Rhys Ifans in the role of an aging womanizer. The rest of the cast in on point too. All in all a fun watch.
The story is full of surprises... it's just a pity that it's somehow boring...
ok this has Woody Allen all over the place, a comedy about different stories and situations, you wouldn't laugh but it was enjoyable
