In der Neuauflage des Klassikers "Frankenstein" von Mary Shelley wird die Gruselgeschichte aus der Perspektive von Igor (Daniel Radcliffe), dem Assistenten von Victor Von Frankenstein (James McAvoy), erzählt. Nachdem sich der junge Medizinstudent Frankenstein des von einer dunklen Vergangenheit gezeichneten Igors annimmt, entwickelt sich zwischen dem angehenden Mediziner und seinem wissbegierigen Helfer eine enge Freundschaft. Hautnah erlebt Igor mit, wie sein genialer Meister Experimente vollzieht, die über die Grenzen der Wissenschaft hinausgehen…

The movie was mediocre, entertaining at least, but I must say I loved McAvoy, he did a really good job, I hope he will one day get a chance to act in a meaningful movie, where he can really shine and express himself, as a good actor he is. Here, acting was irrelevant anyway, I don't think nobody cared.

First time watching Frankenstein movie and I lovit. Great cast, nice performances and the result is a 2 hours of a good movie.

Wtf happened? They had the most brilliant actors and they made this. I think i have something better imagine this Proffesor X, Harry Potter, Tywin Lannister and Moriarty in a room fighting.
