Excellent film from Nakamura. The story of a hostess who slides into prostitution and an abusive relationship with her pimp. Very well shot, with a ool olour palette. Keeps you engaged all the way through. The only criticism is that it could have elicited more of an emotional response for the heroine. It's a little detached. But still excellent.
