I didn't hate it, but I found myself not caring.

I actually quite enjoyed it. The main interest of that movie is of course the bling-bling side of Versailles. I don't agree with everything in that movie and the characters were all rather superficially describe except the royal couple, in my opinion but I liked the performance and the atmosphere.

This is a movie I watch every year on my birthday.

Not a movie to watch with others — too quiet. Costumes and set designs were the best. 😍 I know this was modernized a little but the poprock music sequences felt so out of place.
