WWE Night of Champions 2026 was a perfectly good card and another example of WWE making some positive adjustments after the frustrations of WrestleMania. One of the biggest improvements was simply the structure of the show. A six-match card gave the event a little more variety than WWE’s recent trend of five-match PLEs, and more importantly, it allowed the matches enough time to actually breathe. That extra time made a noticeable difference. Rather than feeling rushed in an effort to manufacture highlight-reel moments, the matches had room to develop, making the in-ring product stronger across the board. It wasn’t a revolutionary show, but it was a much more satisfying watch because of that. There’s still some meat left on the bones. WWE can continue to improve the pacing, card depth, and overall balance between storytelling and wrestling. But this was a solid event that consistently entertained without ever reaching the spectacular heights of the year’s best shows. Best Match: Rollins v Breakker Rating: 4/5 – 80% – Would Recommend
