It's good for passing the time, but it really went downhill after the argument in the office. From that scene on, it was a downward spiral until that nonsensical ending. Basically, all four family members participated in the murder: the son by drugging his drink, the daughter with the initial shove, the father with the kick he delivered, and Lucero by ultimately drowning him. I was expecting a different kind of ending. Ludwika Paleta was a brilliant choice, and Óscar Casas was outstanding.

Desire (2026) works as an escapist and provocative pastime for fans of the 'dangerous love triangle' style, but fails to solidify itself as a memorable thriller due to a weak screenplay in the final third of the screening.
