Show was fine, nothing out of the ordinary, something to expect from WWE PLEs. - Asuka vs Iyo match was really good, easily the best match of the night. If it's Asuka's last match, then WWE is dumb. - Roman wins, but WWE did make Fatu look strong in defeat. Good match. - Seth vs Bron, expected, interference win for Bron. This story is becoming so boring. - Danhausen is the new Doink the Clown. Aint funny. Lets see how long this goes. - John Cena's announcement was bull crap. So if you loose a match and fans vote for you, you are the champion? Lets see if those YT channels complaining about WWE having too many belts? They wont, coz they are biased. Thank god the show was short, even short the ads did kill me.
WWE Backlash Tampa was a surprisingly good PLE. Coming off a WrestleMania that left me more frustrated than excited due to the pacing and production choices, this felt like a welcome course correction. What stood out most was the consistency. Rather than focusing solely on moments, entrances, and spectacle, the show actually delivered quality wrestling from start to finish. The matches were given room to breathe, the pacing felt much smoother, and the card flowed in a way that kept me invested throughout the night. There may not have been a single all-time classic match, but the overall product was stronger because there weren't many weak spots. Sometimes a wrestling show doesn't need a dozen viral moments—it just needs good wrestling and coherent booking. Backlash delivered exactly that. Best Match: Sky vs Asuka Rating: 4/5 – 85% – Would Recommend
I am sure Roman wins.
