The Marley of “A Christmas Carol” adaptations… This is one of the worst attempts at adapting Dickens’ A Christmas Carol that I have ever seen… it only being… 1 hour and 3 minutes long and I kept checking to see how much longer I had to go. Honestly it could’ve been done in 20 minutes or less…. And honestly the first ~37 minutes of the film was setting up had big of a bum and out of touch Eddie McClintock’s character was… and focusing on the round table of “purgatory” second chance helpers make blasé comments over and over again as the try to push the story along. This attempted adaptation is the Marley of A Christmas Carol adaptations… one that may save others from following the same fate.
