This project is wonderful because it introduces the legend of John Elway to younger generations and non-fans alike. Having grown up in Denver during his era, I firmly believe he is the greatest quarterback in NFL history. It’s not just about the statistics; it’s about the 'Mile High Magic' and those iconic fourth-quarter comebacks that created some of the most electrifying moments in sports. His career is proof that reality is often more compelling than fiction. He elevated his teammates, the city of Denver, and the game itself to incredible heights.

Knew absolutely nothing about John Elway before this so in that sense the documentary did its job. The whole John Wayne framing device is… a choice. Every time it popped up I felt my brain do the “oh yeah they’re doing that are they” sigh. Fucking rubbish idea! That aside it is a good, perfectly watchable doc

I knew he was a great ball player but I had no idea all that he had to overcome. I have so much respect for him. What a legend!
