it's nice when u can't tell what is going to happen

Guy Pearce sells his face for a whole kinda of slow movie. Ending is good.

I tried, I really did, but can’t really like this movie. I’m a big fan of post apocalyptic movies but this lacks a lot as far as what is going on in the world or even in the country and found myself skipping ahead constantly after about the halfway mark, it’s just slow paced and I didn’t particularly care for any character. Certainly not the psychopath that kills everyone indiscriminately for his car, not the character played by Pattinson as some kind of half wit. Finally skipping to when he finally finds the guys who take his car it moves equally as slow, but I watched to the end (15 minutes left) to see if there was a big “reveal” and what it ended up being is very underwhelming. Very discount John Wick.

Slow burning Australian post-apo with great lead from Guy Pearce and awesome performance from Robert Pattinson. Loved the reveal at the end, it had me screaming at my TV "of course!". It's great when movies do that. Fantastic watch!
