Sarah Squirm: Live + in the Flesh is a strange, intentionally uncomfortable stand-up special that leans heavily into presentation and production. From a visual and conceptual standpoint, it’s creative and engaging, clearly trying to do something different from a traditional comedy set. That aspect works—the atmosphere and commitment to the bit are impressive. Unfortunately, the actual stand-up material never quite matches that ambition. While some jokes are clearly designed to make the audience “squirm,” and that part lands, the humor itself rarely hits hard. It’s more interesting than it is funny, and that imbalance ultimately holds it back. Rating: 2/5 – 65% – Not Recommended to Everyone
Do these clown pants make me look fat
If you make it through to the 'slideshow' portion, you got through the hard part. If you watched the 'slideshow' portion, you deserve a medal. Fucking weird. Just as Sarah's work is.
Kind of disappointed. I didn’t find it funny at all but rather gross. It’s a fine line and what she is doing is not funny… really gross graphics and those idiots in the audience laughing? And that screaming and rambling?.. more disappointing than Leslie Jones stand up. Don’t waste your time.
