This movie falls into the ever-growing pile of mediocre Hallmark Christmas movies that lack substance. Yet I rated it entirely too high for three reasons. The acting was fairly believable, there was some humor and charm, but my rating was primarily based on the military armed services always having a warm place in my heart.

Not a fan of Christmas movies in general that are on Hallmark Channel but I couldn't resist seeing Mona from PLL.

The beginning seemed good, but the further it went, the worse it got. For us, this is a B-movie.
