I'd rename this film "The Whitest Man's Entitlement". Robin Williams (R.I.P.) is quite effective as a self-centered, entitled, privileged bitch. Also I didn't buy for one second that his son was a dancer - that actor had no rhythm whatsoever. But the whole movie pales by the brief performance of the great James Earl Jones (who had to overcome a a terrible stutter when he was younger, so this performance must have been triggering!). I hate films that falsely represent Brooklyn as this whites-only lil town where actors of color are there to be servants and homeless. If you loved my review, you'll love the film.

I'm the angriest guy on Trakt. I am angry that this film is so poor. I am angry that the film wasted my time. I am angry that this was one of the final movie appearances of the late great Robin Wlliams. I am angry that Robin is no longer around to bless and entertain us. Everything about this is just so tragic, especially considering the film's themes and the real-life fate of Robin Williams. A real shame.

Had never heard of this 'til day of watching now but after seeing I can understand the timing may have been a large part of the reason for that. Anyway, film wasn't bad, wasn't entirely predictable, was funny in places, acting was fine, and the idea of it was decent enough. Was a bit unsettling with the obvious circumstances and that being forefont the whole while, but it was enjoyable enough while not really hitting any highs. Maybe not worth the watch for some, I mean, it's less than 90 minutes and you may well have better things to do with that time, like speaking to a salesman, but as a one-time-only viewing I was happy to have come across it in the end.

One of the last movie from a legend. A good one. Rest in Peace.

I give it 7 out of respect and it's not really that bad either.
