The use of the bodycam footage made it entertaining and did add to some of the tension. But things did fall apart with some of the poor CGI effects and a somewhat clunky ending. Decent watch but feels flat at the end.

it was a good movie, good story good acting but some of the scenes look like its straight of a videogame which doesnt really look good in a movie and i get it was a lowbudget movie so they didnt have much to go off

I continue to enjoy the random horror releases that pop up on AMC+, and Bodycam (2026) fits right into that lane. It’s not revolutionary and it’s certainly not the best horror movie you’ll see, but it scratches that itch for quick, experimental genre content. The biggest comparison point is something like V/H/S. The concept feels very much like a short film that’s been stretched into a full-length movie. At times that works in its favor — the bodycam perspective keeps things uncomfortable and unpredictable, giving the film a distinct style that helps it stand out. Even when the execution is uneven, that unpredictability gives the movie a bit of personality. It’s not particularly great, but it’s memorable enough to justify the watch. Not that great a film for a found footage genre. I was sleeping midway at some scenes and the ending was dull.
