Watched #MadrasMatinee last night! Absolutely loved it! I think this film portrayed the closest to what middle class families are in real. All the emotions felt so real, actors were top notch especially Kaali Venkat. He was fantastic! ♥ A typical middle class parent who would do anything in their capacity to give the best kind of education to their children and the best part is the struggles are not being romanticised here!! Also 1. The whole “Bangalore ponna nala ponnu kettu poiruchu” perception was not there! 2. Corporate naale ipdi dhan angle lam ilama 3. It touches upon the discrimination towards marginalised communities that happens even today. 4. The portrayal of middle class not stereotyped or wrongly portrayed. Just showed the reality with a good neighbourhood. So many little things that I really liked about the film! Over all a well written, beautiful portrayal of middle class life ♥
