A completely satisfying ending. Noon Woranuch and Koy Aratchaporn look absolutely gorgeous.
Enjoyably solid Thai horror thriller that is suitably moody looking and largely carried on the shoulders of Arachaporn Pokinpakorn’s performance as the tormented Ros. It’s a small cast and Thanavate Siriwattanakul as her love interest, Cheev, is rather weak, but it’s still a good ride that culminates in an unexpectedly camp climax.
Sleek, confident chiller. It rides mood and craft instead of cheap jumps, then spends its gore in sharp little bursts that actually sting. The villa setting and art direction do loads of work: glass, stone, reflections, all judging the characters while the tension tightens. You can feel the lineage, guilt and control games, secrets under calm water, but it still feels its own thing. The ghost design is simple and horrible in the right way, the sort of wrong that prickles your neck. The ending lands hard and will haunt you. If you liked… Psycho, What Lies Beneath or Rebecca this is for you!
