Spoiler Alert: Barely watchable. So typical Troma. You either like it or you don't.


I am no Troma expert, but this is hands down my favorite amongst their classics. Both one of the lowest points of exploitation cinema and the apex of Kaufman’s production before going downhill in the early 2000s. Even though it doesn’t have unintentionally poetic and somewhat artsy bits like “Tromeo and Juliet”, it might be the first time we actually get two hours’ worth of bad taste footage instead of a couple of iconic moments watered down to reach the length of a feature film. As a slasher taking place on the set of a Toxie sequel, the movie is littered with easter eggs and self-quotes, but there are also tons of other movie references for cinephiles as well.
