There's no nice way to say this, so I'll just say it: Writer/directors Friedberg and Seltzer are a scourge. They're a plague on our cinematic landscape, a national shame, a danger to our culture.
Can you imagine laughing at this.
Oh my god, the lowest point of parodies. And that was saying A LOT coming from the people who made Epic Movie and Meet the Spartans. There was no script. Literally. They were disconnected scenes of people dressed as characters from 2008 movies (Iron Man, Juno, High School Musical, Hancock...) being hit or falling. That was it. The "humor" consisted of pointing out "look, it's like that movie" and waiting for laughs. There were no jokes. There was no timing. There was nothing. Some crimes against cinema can't be undone.
I don't understand it. I love humor like this in every other movie, like the Scary Movie franchise or any other movie f.e. with Leslie Nielsen. But in this one, I'm bored all the time. What went wrong?
I will rate this movie I date Michael Jackson/10
