Sohum Shah’s Crazxy takes a bold step in offering something different to Indian audiences. The film begins on a promising note with its high-stakes premise and edge-of-the-seat tension. Shah delivers a commendable performance as Dr. Abhimanyu Sood, carrying the movie almost entirely on his shoulders. The cinematography effectively captures the claustrophobic tension of being confined to a car, while the background score adds to the suspense. However, as the story unfolds, the plot begins to falter, struggling to maintain its grip and emotional depth. The unique storytelling approach, though refreshing, feels incomplete due to shallow character development and a lack of impactful moments. The film’s major drawback is its inability to sustain its momentum. While the first half offers some engaging sequences, the second half loses steam, particularly after the kidnapper’s identity is revealed. The emotional bond between the father and daughter feels underdeveloped, which detracts from the story’s emotional core. The climax, modified post-release based on viewer feedback, highlights the film’s lack of cohesion and planning. Moreover, relying solely on Shah’s performance while sidelining other characters reduces the narrative’s richness. Despite its flaws, Crazxy deserves credit for attempting something unconventional in Bollywood. It borrows inspiration from Western thrillers but lacks the polish and depth needed for lasting impact. While it may not be groundbreaking, it is worth a watch for those seeking a fresh cinematic experience. However, temper your expectations—it’s an experiment that doesn’t fully deliver on its promise. Not as expected, feels like I'm watching a unfinished YouTube short story. *The story actually not concluding anything.
Definitely not a movie for Indian mass audience. Only cinephiles will like it. Edge of seat experience, unpredictable twist and Sohum Sah's acting kept me hooked. Ending was little "not to the same level as whole movie". But movie sends a very good message related to dawn syndrom.
I'm late for it but it felt nice. Something new, fresh and out of the box. Full marks for the courage to plan this claustrophobic, gritty and intense journey. Twists are unpredictable but the ending and the songs are a bit miss. Girish Kohli did a fantastic job with script & the one-man show portrayed brilliantly by Sohum Shah. But the climax went over-the-top with its running, car hit, & reaction after knowing the truth, all just felt off-tone from rest of the movie. Don't get me wrong i absolutely loved the creators for their honest try but the ending just ruined my entire experience. I mean the whole movie is great and the ending is just alright. So...
Average film with amazing messege
