It's a good movie, but it's nowhere near as good as Hitcher. I really don't know how she pulled off that stunt with the magazine.

Not bad at all … from hum drum to kick ass … the last 30 minutes are worth the wait. Fair play to the actors and all involved, well done!

A representative of the now rare subgenre hitcher-films. In which, crossing the desert savannas of the US, the protagonist stumbles upon Evil, which he does not just want to kill, for him the hero is like a mouse for a cat. Just a toy and entertainment. Bloody and cruel, but of course not even close to the duel of Howell and Hauer

>*"You know what they say: wanna see a man's true colors, give him a badge and a little bit of power."* A good old classic thriller like they used to make them, super cliché and filled with tropes but a good one at that. Kinda like *Wolf Creek* with it's premise but more traditional and way less disturbing. I really like the main character played by Britni Camacho she's easy to root for and the acting does all the difference, very believable and genuine. There's a car conversation with another character that I also really like that was so emotional and the highlight of this movie for me. John Schwab does a fine job as the maniac cop and thankfully they gave him more character depth in the third act which I enjoyed even if it's so cliché. Good thrills, suspenseful, a few car chases, and it's a fairly good looking movie with desert landscapes. There's a death in here that I won't soon forget, I jumped. It struggles a little bit at keeping the momentum in the third act and it's predictable but it was entertaining enough to call it a good time.

This one is all around a bit undercooked. The acting isn't quite there, the tension with the Sheriff never really builds and the scenario is far from plausible (given the scope of this and the risks the Sheriff constantly takes). Our "heroine" is also frequently making the dumbest decisions [spoiler](just driving on after the diner, stopping at the truck just like that and not even picking up the guys shotgun (lad had crazy eyesight too to see the corpse), smashing her own working phone just bc her ex called instead of like calling for help)[/spoiler] and some stuff was lost at the editing floor [spoiler](killing off the most likeable character introduced but not at all showing what she did with the corpse next to her in the car??)[/spoiler] (or is this maybe a result of having three writers..)? Regardless of all that I didn't really hate it as some parts were cool, just taking it for what it is I guess...
