Weak character arc, full of self deprecating jokes and is generally unfunny. This movie serves the same faith as Matrix.
Massively disappointing! There is barely a story. It feels like a collection of random scenes thrown together, filled with bad acting, over-the-top performances, and jokes that simply do not land. It is not funny, it is not clever, and it is not worth your time.
I didn't laugh once. I only chuckled for a split second, but for a comedy that's an hour and 30 minutes long, that's really bad. I would say that about 15 or 20 minutes in, I realized I hadn't laughed once. And no, it's not because I have no sense of humor or was offended. It just wasn't funny. I liked Scary Movie 1, 2 & 3, but this is really bad. Scary Movie 4 is funnier than this. 'Every line will be crossed' is the movie's tagline, and yet it was very safe. I wanted to have a laugh and was looking forward to it, but it was so disappointing in the most depressing way. I hope part 7 will be better.
I knew it wasn’t going to be good, but I am The Champion Of Comedy™ and I can’t help but give the benefit of the doubt. And sure it’s dumb to harp on plot during a parody movie that is essentially a bunch of sketches strewn together but if the sketches aren’t good then at least have some more cohesion. Only thing that made me laugh was the Final Destination roller coasters going to shit in the background.
The best jokes in this were just recycled bits from earlier movies. Even the new movie references felt less cohesive and just overall unfunny. Sadly this movie clearly hasn’t evolved at all over the years. Would Not Recommend
