Jimmy Carr widerlegt mit seinen provokanten Ansichten über Waffengesetze, Religion, Cancel Culture und Einvernehmlichkeit, dass man sich heute über nichts mehr lustig machen darf.

Try not to get sick with all the camera work, production team seems to have a fascination with flying circles around Jimmy's head during the show.
I have the feeling that he should have let go of the COVID-vaccine-joke after all we know today…aged quite badly. The rest is classic-Carr: standing there telling one-liners front to back. Either like that style or not. Me personally I quite enjoy it as I know him and his last specials - it’s always like you know what you get…straight forward jokes all around. 7/10
Film 167 (Goal: 300) of 2024: This is my second Jimmy Carr special, having previously watched Jimmy Carr: His Dark Materials earlier this year. Like with that special, I also gave this a 3 out of 5 rating. That special was me ascertaining what style Jimmy Carr uses, as I had only previously seen him in heckle clips on Youtube. Like that previously mentioned special, Carr spends most of this special whipping through short jokes on topics many would find offensive. Within the first 20 minutes, he touches on rape, abortion, pedophilia, transgender and sexuality, among other subjects. And he whips through them quickly, some landing, some not, a mixed bag. Honestly this special starts slow - despite it's edit starting with Carr already on stage, telling jokes. This is in contrast to the last special, where I found it to start slow, build up, and then lose steam by the end. Here, the middle and end is stronger, though there are portions where Carr stays on a topic for a long time. He spends time on a routine with an audience member that last for what feels like 10 minutes. Some of it's funny, but by then it and his routine in general has lost a bit of steam. I like Jimmy Carr overall. Yeah he can say some really screwed up things, but I can take a joke and he gets me to laugh more often than not. I think he's a step behind some of the leaders right now as his style feels a bit like reading lines off reddit, but overall Carr's willingness to go where others won't and the presentation that he's set up makes for a fun hour.
I gave Jimmy several chances to win me over with his comedic style, but I guess it is just not for me. I don't find him funny most of the time and I feel like he is stuck there, never moving, never changing pose, only reciting one-liners that are supposed to be funny. Also, his laugh is just not great to listen to haha sorry
