significantly better production quality jokes landed right for me first half felt a bit laggy although good movie great sound and music
Surprisingly I liked the film. The first half mainly focuses on introducing the characters and timeline, which felt a bit slow to me. I think that’s probably why many people didn’t enjoy it. However in the second half, after the introduction of Dude, the film shifts gears and brings back the old Aadu vibe. Even though it’s the weakest in the Aadu franchise,it’s definitely not a bad film.
its is a visually stunning film with excellent frames.though it falls short of its full potential. definitely worth a watch. but the frustrating thing that the trend of splitting movies into two parts. (dam u Rajamouli!) for films this feels unnecessary and rarely pays off
Aadu 3 was a total leap in genre as compared to the previous two movies. While Jayasurya (especially him, props!!) and the rest of the cast effortlessly slipped into their roles and delivered monumentally, along with the iconic background scores which amplified the viewers' immersion and nostalgia, the movie overall did not strike me as something memorable. The VFX was actually horrible and bugged me a lot. The shots and contrasts hitched frequently and felt disruptive to the flow. Personally, as stunning as Alleya Bourne is, she was such a horrible decision because her face remained bland throughout, where eye actors would have been a great pick. Her script was severely limited to "shit", and it got extremely repetitive and boring. The plot is quite clever. The first part prior to the interval feels too long (of course, it is not split halfway) and is less eventful. I could not tell at times if they meant the period drama to appear so superficial for the elements of comedy or not. The second part had a handful happening all at once and it was fun to see so many of the characters bring life to the screen again. The ending became more and more predictable as it drew closer, and honestly, even though I have nothing to complain about it, the way the loose ends have been left (be it in the name of cliffhangers or whatever else) is quite unexciting and dull. The plot could have been thickened long back, and the ending could have had better hooks if we are to wait another 10 years (goat knows).
