Had the ingredients, missed the recipe. A frustrating rollercoaster of ambition and missed potential. The vision for a grand, myth-infused action fantasy is visible, but the execution is very uneven. The Good: Some naturally shot scenes are genuinely stunning and cinematic, you can feel the directorial vision what they wanted to make, CGI and action in some scenes is good when considered the budget. The Bad: Inconsistent visuals, frames suddenly cut to fake-looking AI shots that shatter immersion. Major script flaws, starting with revealing the mother, son, sacrifice emotional core way too early. That reveal should've hit when the protagonist learned it, not upfront. Plot holes everywhere, convenience writing where events happen because the script needs them to, not because they make sense. The Ugly: Jarring tonal shifts. The unnecessary comedy with the friend gang and cops completely disturbs the serious momets. Cut that forced humor, trim the runtime, let the action breathe. The Lord Ram connection felt forced and disconnected from the established lore, an odd inclusion that didn't land that we'll.
The setup, premise, animation/CGI were quite good. 3rd act fell apart, due to being too dragged, and a dud of a fight.
This is how you make a good Fantasy-Action movie. It had all the recipes mixed well and there was never a dull moment. Loved the VFX work. How often do you see a good Fantasy movie in Indian cinema that realy entertains you? Cant wait for the sequel (post-credit scene related).
