After roughly half an hour, watching this movie further became nothing more than a matter of principle. And I am too old for that. Pity, as I really do like McAvoy.
A bit of an artistically sought-after perspective for the film, which was a bit of a disappointment. Not bad and I wouldn't have watched it if McAvoy hadn't been in it because he usually makes all his films good. A unique film in this era :)
I really don't have much to say for this one. My interest, my enjoyment, and my patience all flatlined 20 minutes in. Even for a short 80-minute runtime, it still feels too long. The editing and directing confused me, and the writing just seems pretentious. There's definitely some substance there. I just don't care to unravel it. As for James McAvoy, he's been playing this type of character for a while now, so the performances all around just felt dull. All in all, the marketing makes it seem a lot more interesting than it actually is.
A very strange, dark and deep look at the depression of a Famous Photographer who is on a downward spiral. I didn't enjoy it at all. It just went round in a downward slope. Even James McAvoy couldn't save this.. 🙈
Unfortunately, this had no substance with which to hold the viewers attention I could not finish it as I felt that my life was too precious to waste any more of it on this. I actually really like James McAvoy but I’ve seen him be this guy a lot and this movie was interesting enough for me to watch it again.
